Nestle - the world’s largest food and beverage company.

Period of cooperation - from 2020 and till now. We completed different projects for Nestle's Wyeth Nutrition Digital Center and Web CMS department.

Main result of our cooperation:

  • transparent and effective communication between project team members;
  • after the code refactoring, the amount of portlets was reduced by half, the general architecture setup became even more transparent and the resource usage was reduced. It also helped to set up proper CI/CD based on Jenkins and GitLab;
  • fully automated process of website deployment – with just one click;
  • the expenses for the hosting provider services were decreased by 2,5 times;
  • implementation of a new platform setup based on Drupal single code repository, MySql and Docker as well as an architectural solution for it;
  • infrastructure setup, new portal setup, deployment process, backups and recovery were completely automated and implemented as a code based on Ansible while working on the Rackspace hosting;
  • successfully migrated and launched more than 10 portals within half a year.

Initial goal was to suport legacy infrastructure and deployment code, but during the time we have:

  • implemented Jenkins pipelines for several tasks that could be automated;
  • improved deployment and testing processes
  • introduced package management system based on GitHub Packages;
  • implemented new release and versioning process;
  • dockerized main applications;
  • started to work on the new infrastructure setup based on AWS and Terraform;
